Bushcraft at Barfield
Barfield School is committed to Outdoor Education. As such we have designed a series of courses to teach children from Barfield, and the wider community, about the importance of Essential Living: building shelter, making fire and living outdoors. The courses teach bushcraft skills and games to increase children's understanding of food, water and shelter from nature. The courses are designed empower children amongst nature and extend learning in several areas of the curriculum.
Holiday Camps are for 9 to 14 year olds! The children will learn Essential Living© with bush craft activities and games to develop their understanding of food, water and shelter from nature in the grounds of Barfield School. The course is specifically designed to extend learning in several areas of the curriculum and children will receive Certificates of Achievement for the skills they learn.
