Our policies and procedures lay down comprehensive guidelines to help with the smooth running of Barfield School Nursery. Their existence is aimed at assisting both parents/carers and staff, in fulfilling our aims and remaining within the boundaries of all relevant legislation. These policies have been drawn up in accordance with DfE guidelines and recommendations. Most of the children attending the nursery stay on to Barfield School, so some of the policies are shared with the main school, such as Admissions, First Aid and Administration of Medicines.
All members of staff in the EYFS are obliged to sign a form to say they have read and understood every policy listed below, on an annual basis:
