Barfield School has its very own Outdoor Pursuits company on site. Three Peaks Outdoor Pursuits was established in 1992 to promote adventurous activities.
On Wednesday afternoons, during our activities sessions, each year group is given opportunities throughout the term to participate and enjoy our high ropes, low ropes, quad bikes, archery, assault course and many other exhilarating pursuits.
The children thoroughly enjoy these facilities, unique to Barfield, which help to build their self-confidence and their ability to work as a team. We strongly believe this happy and cohesive approach to learning underpins much of their success in the classroom and supports their holistic development.
During the past 16 years 3PKS has developed into one of the leading providers of Outdoor activity courses for children in Surrey. The courses originally offered to only Barfield School pupils have now attracted great interest in the local community and all courses sell out on a regular basis.
All activities provided are open to non Barfield pupils. All profits raised from our activities are generated back into providing more equipment and better facilities for the school. We now employ a full time Manager and Assistant Manager to oversee all aspects of the development and provision of activities here at the school under the name of Three Peaks Outdoor Pursuits.
We are an OFSTED registered company, with a team of staff who are all CRB checked, trained in childcare, and have gained many qualifications and great knowledge through years of working both in the UK and abroad in the outdoor pursuits business.
We provide a full range of outdoor adventurous activities for corporate hospitality events, school holiday activity camps, sports courses, a swimming school, and birthday parties.
