Year 2 Visit Wisley

The sun shone for Year 2's visit to Wisley on Thursday 5th May.

On arrival the children explored the gardens and saw a variety of flowers, with amazing colours and scents. In the afternoon they learnt about the life cycle of a plant and used this knowledge to piece together a plant puzzle and label it. They then had fun planting nasturtium seeds.

After lunch, all the children were involved in collecting pieces of fallen flowers, trees and shrubs. These pieces were then used to design and create a picture of a flower on sticky card.

Year 2 had a truly lovely day out and appreciated the natural beauty of Wisley Gardens.
